Bydgoszcz City of Music UNESCO has launched BPM DUO - a brand-new residency programme designed for musicians who are ready to take creative collaboration to the next level.
BPM DUO invites two mid-career musicians based in the European Union (outside of Poland) who have never worked together before to develop a new artistic project - side by side, in real time, in Bydgoszcz. The programme gives selected artists three weeks of dedicated time and space to create, experiment, and grow. Something that's increasingly rare and genuinely valuable in today's busy professional landscape.
What's included:
Shared accommodation, a dedicated workspace, and an honorarium for each resident. No application fee.
Who can apply:
Two musicians residing in the EU (excluding Poland), at a mid-career stage, applying together as a duo with a joint project proposal. The catch? You must not have collaborated before, as this is about sparking something new.
Residency dates (applicants choose one):
Residency 1: 4 May – 24 May 2026
Residency 2: 1 June – 21 June 2026
Application deadline: 10 March 2026, 23:59 CET
Results announced: 22 March 2026
